Description
Born out of the hugely popular Goblet EVO stable, and made from 100% polycarbonate, the EVO Ergo offers all the same dimensions as the regular EVO, but is completely sculpted to ergonomically fit the hands natural curved contours. This gives an extremely firm and confident hold for those using heavier bands. A lanyard hole also features in this catapult, should you wish to use one.
The surface, as well as the band grooves, have a slight texture to aid grip, but the fork tips have a polished finish to allow the band to draw and retract smoothly and cleanly with the least resistance possible. Sloped tips to aid a straight wrist style of shooting, although it doesn’t have to be shot this way, and a chamfered brace allows the hand to be placed in the exact same position each time. This is genuinely the most comfortable catapult I’ve ever held, and I feel I’ve covered all the bases with this one.
This catapult is designed to be shot with a brace grip. It can be shot with a pinch grip, but will not be as comfortable. Polycarbonate will dent if hit, but will not snap or break. Always wear eye protection.

Just been out for the first time with my new Evo Ergo, it’s great to shoot, fits the hand nicely. I’d strongly recommend everybody buys one!

This is an absolutely incredible product. The name “Ergo” (ergonomic) is well suited for this design, it fits perfectly in the hand and is very comfortable. It is also lightweight and very strong. Whoever designed this clearly loves slingshots, I highly recommend this frame to anyone who is interested.

What a beauty!
Just got home from holiday to find my new EVO Ergo ‘Forester’ green catapult waiting for me – Spent too long target practicing with my mini birchwood catapult with “Catty Shack” 40/70 tubes and M10 hex nuts filled with lead and my anchor hand fingers got tired and I had a catastrophic fork hit. I bought this catapult as a replacement and an upgrade for target practice then hunting.
Out of the half dozen or so “Gamekeeper” catapults that I’ve owned and used over the last few years, this catapult from “Catty Shack” is by far the best design that I’ve ever used. The deep grooves around the fork make it so much easier to tie bands on and the shape makes it so easy to hold on to with a high draw weight because of the straighter wrist position that the design allows, which also increased my draw length a little, another bonus. Having my first few shots with it my accuracy was spot on from the second shot onwards at my shooting range. It’s so much easier to hold while aiming and to aim with than the mini I’ve been using.
I’m well impressed with this catapult. I’m looking forward to many years of target practice and hunting with this beauty!
