The ‘EVO Field Pro’ really does no longer require an introduction, but…this is the sister version of the hugely popular Goblet EVO, the only difference being that this one is clipped, so no more wrap and tuck…unless you prefer that of course, which some do, then the regular Goblet EVO will be the one for you.

This catapult is an absolute dream to shoot. It’s made from 304 Stainless steel, so will last lifetimes. There are no rivnuts, the clips themselves are threaded. T20 A2 stainless Torx bolts secure the clips in place. Torx fittings being far more sturdy than the Alan key fittings that can round off easily. Torx key supplied. In my opinion the Goblet EVO is the perfect hunting catapult. Weighing in around 300grams, it easily absorbs recoil. The sloped tips enable you to use a straight wrist shooting style, while the gnarly grip and chamfered brace give a feeling of stability and security in the hand. It’s slimline nature, being only 10mm thick, allows it to fit into any pocket comfortably.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE USE!

When you receive the catapult, take care to remove the bolts, these are sprung loaded, and some may be a little stiff initially until they work in. Disassemble it and de-grease it, noting which clip fits on which side. You can oil or grease the bolt threads to keep things moving nicely. Included in the case is a sandpaper disc, once the clips are removed for cleaning, use the sandpaper on the inner top edges of the catapult and the clips (where the bands clamp in) to remove any potential rough edges that may cause damage to the bands. Reassemble.

Securely fasten the band in the clips and pull the elastic back a few times, away from the face initially, just in case. I have thoroughly tested these with a heavy set up and have had no slippage or damage to any band, but you never know!
